ADSW - WISER CONFERENCE

The third annual Women in Sustainability, Environment, and Renewable Energy (WiSER) conference brought together global leaders from business, government, and academia to discuss women’s advancement through renewable energy and sustainability initiatives. Hosted by Masdar in partnership with the Zayed Future Energy Prize, the event was held on January 16, 2018, at the VIP Majlis in the ICC Hall at ADNEC during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.

Under the theme Women of Easternisation, the conference featured a keynote address by Her Excellency Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Al Mehairi, UAE Minister of State for Food Security. Robust discussions among speakers and participants emphasized the importance of women’s roles in advancing sustainability efforts globally.
