HIPA 12TH SEASON: AWARD CEREMONY

The 12th season of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award Ceremony (HIPA) took place on November 16, 2023, at the Dubai Opera.

Celebrating the theme of “Diversity,” the event honored remarkable achievements in photography and provided a platform to showcase a wide array of artistic expressions.

Evolution was tasked with conceptualizing and executing a creative vision that captured the essence of diversity. From designing a dynamic stage to creating an immersive gallery space, Evolution delivered an event experience that elevated the artistry of photography and left a lasting impression on attendees.

Immersive Event Design and Artistic Staging

• Designed a dynamic stage setup featuring seven screens of various sizes and orientations, reflecting the theme of diversity through visual storytelling.
• Produced an introductory video accompanied by a bespoke musical composition, blending renowned classical pieces with global influences to enhance the audience experience.
• Developed a gallery area with four custom-designed installations, each equipped with dual screens to create an immersive visual showcase of award-winning photography.
• Created a unique physical invitation for VIPs in the form of a polaroid photo box, aligning with the photography theme.
• Designed and launched an online registration platform to streamline guest RSVPs and enhance event accessibility.

The 12th HIPA Award Ceremony successfully celebrated the art of photography and the theme of diversity with innovative design, dynamic staging, and immersive content.

Evolution’s creative direction and meticulous execution ensured a memorable evening that honored both artistic excellence and cultural inclusivity.
