Abu Dhabi, 2019

In 2019, the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities commissioned Evolution to design and produce the Plan Capital Plenary Session and Workshop in Abu Dhabi.

This event aimed to challenge traditional mindsets by exploring key trends, innovations, and strategies for urban innovation over the next 10–15 years.

Evolution was tasked with creating an impactful environment that would inspire collaboration and forward-thinking among participants. Despite a tight timeline, the team delivered a seamless event setup that combined functional design with cutting-edge technology.

Innovative Event Design and Execution

• Designed and built a main stage in the primary ballroom, which also housed the Innovation Hub, a collaborative space where groups gathered to discuss innovative ideas.
• Transformed a second ballroom into workshop spaces for 14 groups, each tasked with addressing specific objectives and providing solutions.
• Delivered comprehensive event production, including AVL equipment, guest registration services, and photo and video coverage.
• Created a dynamic and engaging environment that fostered collaboration and creativity among attendees.

The Plan Capital Plenary Session and Workshop successfully achieved its goals, providing a platform for participants to address key challenges and innovate solutions for urban planning.
