SANDOOQ AL WATAN: AL AWA’EL RETREAT

On March 6, 2018, Sandooq Al Watan, a private philanthropic organization dedicated to advancing the UAE’s economic and social development, hosted the inaugural Al Awa’el Retreat at Manarat Al Saadiyat.

This prestigious event marked the first of an annual series designed to honor Sandooq Al Watan’s donors and supporting partners.

The retreat was elevated by the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Vice President of the UAE, reflecting the event’s significance and impact. Evolution was entrusted with the event’s design and production, ensuring an elegant and meaningful experience for all attendees.

Elegant Design and Thoughtful Execution

• Designed and constructed a stage with a built-in screen for presentations and awards, seamlessly integrating functionality and aesthetics.
• Developed a group photo platform to accommodate all donors, providing a centerpiece for the retreat’s commemoration.
• Created an interactive gallery to showcase Sandooq Al Watan’s key achievements, blending storytelling with visual impact.
• Produced a bespoke tree installation symbolizing donors as leaves, offering a creative representation of community and growth.
• Delivered AV, lighting, and audio solutions to enhance the ambiance and technical performance of the event.

The Al Awa’el Retreat was a resounding success, setting a high standard for future events in the series.
