The General Conference is UNIDO’s supreme policy-making organ where all Member States meet once every two years. This year’s events was held under the theme of Industry 2030 – Innovate. Connect. Transform our Future.
Global Manufacturing Organization Limited served as a local partner for UN to organize this event in the UAE. Two suppliers were selected to deliver two main scope of works – conference and exhibition. Evolution Events was appointed to deliver the exhibition space, which became the main feature of the event.
As the exhibition was loaded with a lot of content, it was decided to provide iPads, screens and touchscreens for each of the hubs. The atrium of the Emirates Palace was transformed by the use of scenic panels to allow enough space for each hub to be presented and space around for the guests to use the interactive elements.
7 different hubs were created to highlight the main topics and programs of UNIDO - Gender, Youth & Entrepreneurship, Circular Economy, Industry 4.0, Industrial Parks, Sustainable Energy and Partnership Hub.
Each hub was equipped with a programmed touchscreen, Ipads with personal headset, AI station and screens.
A dedicated gallery for Elisabetta Lattanzio Illy was created to present her photo exhibition titled “Transforming needle and thread into women empowerment tools”.
During the 5-days event a dedicated team was appointed to support the client on site.
