• Monster Jam Liwa

A desert performance arena for monster trucks supported by 4,000-seat grandstands, a multi-level VIP structure, crowd infrastructure and full event power.

Monster Jam brought its monster-truck performance to the Liwa Desert for two days on 27 and 28 December 2023. Evolution partnered with Proactive to design and deliver the temporary event environment around the show.

The central idea was visibility. Spectators needed clear views of the truck action, VIP guests required a premium elevated experience, and the operational compound needed enough infrastructure to support heavy machinery, guest services and performance activity in a remote desert location.

Evolution organised the site as a complete motorsport venue, connecting the obstacle course, grandstands, VIP hospitality, crowd-control systems, lighting and power within one operating plan.

    The Challenge

Liwa provided the scale and landscape for the spectacle but little permanent event infrastructure. Seating, hospitality, fencing, cabins, lighting, power and operational support all had to be introduced temporarily and perform reliably in desert conditions.

The truck obstacle course also required machinery and specialist site activity close to the live performance area. Public circulation, vehicle movement and guest facilities needed to remain clearly separated without weakening the audience’s connection to the action.

    The Solution

Evolution developed the overall layout around the truck performance zones and spectator sightlines. Grandstand seating for 4,000 guests created a defined public arena, while fencing established crowd boundaries and protected operational routes.

A custom VIP hospitality structure was built from scaffolding and equipped with a working elevator. The elevated format gave premium guests strong views while creating a complete service environment within the temporary venue.

Machinery was supplied and operated for construction of the truck obstacle course, aligning the physical performance landscape with the requirements of the show.

Main and secondary power, distribution and supporting infrastructure were delivered across the venue, while full event lighting, cabins, tents, buggies and containers enabled the site to function throughout the two-day programme.

    Delivery Highlights

    • Two-day Monster Jam event in Liwa Desert on 27 and 28 December 2023.
    • Overall venue layout covering seating, VIP hospitality and truck performance zones.
    • Grandstand seating for 4,000 spectators.
    • Custom scaffold VIP hospitality structure with a fully functional elevator.
    • Machinery supplied and operated for construction of the obstacle course.
    • Crowd-control fencing and temporary operational support facilities.
    • Main and secondary power distribution with full venue lighting.
Evolution Scenic built entrance portal welcoming motorsport fans to Liwa arena venue

    Outcome

The temporary site operated as a complete motorsport destination rather than an isolated performance track. Public spectators, VIP guests, production teams and heavy vehicles each had clearly planned spaces within the same desert environment.

The spectacle remained the focus because the seating, infrastructure and operations gave audiences a reliable way to experience the scale, noise and movement of Monster Jam safely and comfortably.

  • Women in Business Dinner

A teal-toned dinner and networking environment shaped through elegant furniture, delicate florals and candlelight to support meaningful exchange.

On 3 December 2023, Tamkeen and the Chelsea Clinton Foundation hosted an exclusive Women in Business, Innovation & Policy Dinner at Bluewaters Hotel in Dubai. The evening brought influential leaders and innovators together to share journeys and build meaningful connections.

The creative direction focused not on theatrical spectacle, but on creating an environment that elevated conversation as the main experience. The design needed to feel warm, confident and visually distinctive while ensuring guests remained connected to one another.

Evolution shaped the networking and dinner spaces around a teal palette, elegant furniture, restrained florals and candlelight, using detail and layout to support the purpose of the gathering.

    The Challenge

An intimate leadership dinner depends on the relationship between atmosphere and behaviour. A room can feel visually impressive yet inhibit conversation if furniture, spacing or table settings create too much distance or formality.

The setting also needed to reflect the significance of the guest group without becoming overdesigned or shifting attention away from the stories and policy discussions at the centre of the evening.

Evolution Technical ambient lighting casting warm golden hues across gala dining tables

    The Solution

Evolution selected and arranged furniture to complement the teal event theme and create a coherent movement from networking into seated dinner. The layout allowed guests to gather in smaller conversational groups before progressing into the formal meal.

Delicate floral arrangements and candle centrepieces introduced texture, warmth and intimacy. Their scale was controlled so tables remained open to eye contact and discussion rather than being dominated by decoration.

The evening was designed to flow seamlessly between networking and dining, with each environment supporting a different stage of the guest experience. Visual continuity helped the transition feel natural, while careful setup ensured the room remained welcoming, elegant and conducive to collaboration.

    Delivery Highlights

    • Exclusive dinner hosted by Tamkeen and the Chelsea Clinton Foundation.
    • Leadership and innovation gathering at Bluewaters Hotel in Dubai.
    • Networking and dinner environments planned around conversation.
    • Elegant furniture coordinated with a teal event palette.
    • Delicate floral arrangements and candle centrepieces.
    • Integrated setup and guest-environment delivery.

    Outcome

The completed setting gave the dinner a sense of importance without creating distance between guests. Furniture, lighting and table details established a refined atmosphere while preserving the openness required for personal stories and strategic discussion.

The evening's visual identity supported its purpose quietly: connection remained the focus, with design providing the conditions in which it could happen.

  • 13th WTOMC Gala Dinner

Qasr Al Watan transformed for a formal evening of international diplomacy, cultural performance and UAE hospitality during the WTO’s 13th Ministerial Conference.

During the World Trade Organization’s 13th Ministerial Conference in 2024, international dignitaries and VIP delegates gathered at Qasr Al Watan for a formal gala dinner hosted in Abu Dhabi.

The evening needed to operate as both diplomatic hospitality and a cultural introduction to the UAE. Evolution was entrusted with the full turnkey delivery, creating a guest journey that moved from palace arrival and welcome reception through to speeches, performances and dinner while maintaining the formality and protocol expected of the setting.

The creative approach used elegance, clarity and UAE cultural expression to connect each stage of the programme. Scenic design, tablescapes, signage and activation environments were developed as one cohesive visual language that complemented the palace architecture and the significance of the international audience.

    The Challenge

Qasr Al Watan carries significant architectural presence, meaning temporary interventions needed to create impact while respecting the character of the venue. The event also required clear navigation from entrance gates through arrival, reception and dining areas for guests moving within a highly controlled protocol environment.

Behind the guest experience, catering teams, performers and production crews required dedicated operational spaces and carefully managed access routes. These requirements had to support the programme delivery while remaining discreet and separate from the formal diplomatic setting.

Premium gala dining experience created for international ministers and global trade delegates

    The Solution

Evolution designed and constructed the pre-function and gala dinner environments as one connected guest journey. Branded walls and activation stands established the MC13 identity on arrival, while the main stage provided a formal focal point for speeches and cultural performances.

The gala environment used custom-designed tablescapes and coordinated seating to introduce refinement throughout the dining space. Rather than relying on a single statement feature, the design considered detail across the room, ensuring the formal dinner experience felt cohesive from every guest perspective.

Bespoke directional signage guided guests and VIPs from the entrance gates through the palace while supporting smooth movement within the venue’s architecture. Back-of-house tents were installed for catering operations and performers, allowing guest-facing areas to remain controlled and discreet.

Evolution coordinated closely with venue, protocol and security stakeholders, aligning installation, guest movement and programme timing with the requirements of an international diplomatic occasion.

    Outcome

  • Medeem Card Launch

Three connected stages and an interactive Wedding Calculator introduced the Medeem Card through presentation, media, formal partnership and personal participation.

The Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi launched the Medeem Card with Fazaa at Erth Hotel, introducing an initiative designed to support Emirati youth preparing for marriage and strengthen quality of life and social solidarity.

For an audience of more than 100 stakeholders, the launch needed to explain a public programme, formalise partnerships and make its practical benefits immediately understandable.

Evolution organised the event around three distinct communication modes: a principal stage for shared announcements, dedicated settings for press and MOU activity, and an interactive Wedding Calculator that allowed visitors to relate the initiative to their own planning.

    The Challenge

The event carried institutional, media and public-engagement objectives at the same time. Formal proceedings required clarity and credibility, while the Wedding Calculator needed a more personal and approachable interaction.

Three stages, presentation content, signing activity and visitor participation had to work within one coherent environment without competing for attention.

Modern family development initiative launch stage with warm wood finishes in Abu Dhabi

    The Solution

The main stage was developed around a 4.5-metre-wide screen, creating a strong visual centre for speeches, press activity and the formal launch programme.

Additional stage and screen environments separated the different event functions while retaining a consistent design language. This allowed partnership moments, media communication and live presentations to proceed with the appropriate degree of focus.

The Wedding Calculator provided the experiential counterpoint. Visitors could calculate expected wedding costs, turning the benefits of Medeem from an abstract policy message into a personalised and useful interaction.

Advanced AV, content presentation and live-event coordination were planned around the programme sequence, helping guests move clearly between information, interaction and formal commitment.

    Delivery Highlights

    • Medeem Card launch for more than 100 attendees at Erth Hotel.
    • Three distinct stage and screen environments.
    • Main stage centred on a 4.5-metre-wide screen.
    • Press-conference and MOU-signing programme support.
    • Interactive Wedding Calculator for personalised visitor engagement.
    • Integrated AV and full live-event flow management.
Evolution Technical ambient lighting casting soft warm glow across launch venue in Abu Dhabi

    Outcome

The launch gave the Medeem initiative both institutional authority and practical relevance. Guests could understand the programme through formal content, see partnerships established and then explore its personal value through the Wedding Calculator.

The different environments created a clear progression from announcement to commitment and individual engagement, making a multifaceted public initiative easier to understand.

  • NPO 4th Anniversary

An anniversary environment at Erth Hotel combining Atolye’s design language with framed project stories, custom branding, floral detail and integrated AV.

The National Projects Office marked four years of progress and growth with an anniversary event at Erth Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Evolution collaborated with Turkish design studio Atolye to translate the occasion into a cohesive physical and technical experience.

The creative direction centred on elegance, storytelling and thoughtful detail. Rather than treating the anniversary as a conventional corporate celebration, the environment was designed to reflect the organisation's journey and give its achievements a visible presence throughout the venue.

Atolye's design language and Evolution's production capability came together through framed visual stories, branded interventions, floral decoration and discreet audio and video integration.

    The Challenge

An institutional anniversary must recognise progress without becoming a retrospective display disconnected from the live occasion. The storytelling needed to sit naturally within the guest environment and support a sense of identity, pride and forward movement.

The collaboration also required the original design intent to be preserved through production and installation. Visual elements, floral details and technical systems had to feel related, not like separate supplier packages assembled in the venue. Erth Hotel provided a formal setting, increasing the importance of finish, proportion and technical discretion.

UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 information display surrounded by potted trees and natural greenery

    The Solution

Evolution worked with Atolye to carry the design language through the venue. Framed poster visuals created a sequence of institutional stories, allowing guests to encounter the organisation's journey as part of their movement through the event rather than in a single isolated display.

Custom branding marked key areas and gave the anniversary a recognisable identity, while floral decoration introduced warmth and refinement. The combination allowed the event to remain professional without feeling impersonal.

Evolution delivered the full audio and video setup, ensuring presentations and live content were clearly supported throughout the venue. Technical systems were integrated around the visual environment so they enabled the programme without disrupting its composed aesthetic.

Central production coordination connected Atolye's creative direction with fabrication, installation, floral treatment and technical delivery, protecting the coherence of the design through to the live event.

    Delivery Highlights

    • Fourth-anniversary event for the National Projects Office at Erth Hotel.
    • Creative collaboration with Turkish design studio Atolye.
    • Framed poster visuals communicating the organisation's journey.
    • Custom branding installed across key guest areas.
    • Floral decoration supporting an elegant anniversary atmosphere.
    • Full audio and video setup throughout the venue.
    • Integrated production and onsite installation preserving the creative direction.

    Outcome

The anniversary environment allowed NPO's four-year journey to be experienced throughout the venue rather than confined to a presentation. Guests encountered the organisation's identity through visual stories, branding and detail before and during the formal programme.

The collaboration preserved Atolye's design character while giving it the technical and production support required for a polished live event, resulting in an occasion that felt reflective, confident and distinctly connected to NPO.

  • ADGM Tenth Anniversary

A decade of ADGM milestones brought to life through an illuminated timeline, live hospitality, entertainment and a synchronised outdoor finale for 500 guests.

Abu Dhabi Global Market marked ten years of innovation, growth and community impact with an outdoor anniversary celebration at Tripico in Abu Dhabi. The event was designed for up to 500 guests and needed to honour ADGM's first decade while expressing confidence in the years ahead.

Evolution shaped the experience around the idea of a journey through time. Guests encountered ADGM's milestones through a dynamic LED timeline, moved through a relaxed landscape of food and entertainment, and gathered for a final show moment that connected video, music, lasers, lighting and fireworks.

The anniversary story was therefore not confined to speeches. It was carried through the venue, the guest experience and the sequence of the evening.

    The Challenge

The venue required a significant physical transformation before it could support a large outdoor celebration. The venue’s existing swimming pool had to be covered with a load-bearing platform capable of accommodating the event environment and up to 500 guests while maintaining the intended guest experience.

At the same time, the programme needed to balance institutional storytelling with hospitality and entertainment. Historical content had to feel engaging rather than purely retrospective, while food stations, live music, the Glambot activation and the finale needed to come together as one cohesive anniversary experience.

The final reveal brought together multiple show elements that required precise timing and coordiantion. Each component needed to work seamlesssly with the next to create a memorable closing moment for guests.

Live orchestral performance stage set with precision acoustic monitoring systems in Abu Dhabi

    The Solution

Evolution transformed the pool area into a continuous event platform, creating the spatial foundation for the guest environment. Curated furniture settings, including sofas, coffee tables, barstools and accent chairs, gave the outdoor venue a refined but informal character suited to conversation and celebration.

A custom timeline wall used eleven LED panels to present milestones from ADGM's ten-year journey. Positioned as an active piece of storytelling rather than a static display, it allowed guests to encounter the organisation's history as part of their movement through the venue. A large three-dimensional ADGM logo provided a clear visual anchor and photography moment.

Live food stations added energy and choice throughout the evening, while a saxophonist welcomed guests and a deep-house fusion band shifted the atmosphere towards celebration. The Glambot activation gave attendees a personalised media moment within the wider event identity.

The finale brought the programme together through a three-minute bespoke video reveal, laser effects, a synchronised lighting sequence and fireworks set to ADGM's original AI-created anniversary song. Each element was programmed as part of one progression, allowing the celebration to conclude with a shared expression of legacy and future ambition.

    Delivery Highlights

    • Full outdoor event transformation for up to 500 guests.
    • Load-bearing platform installed over the swimming pool.
    • Timeline wall featuring eleven LED panels and ADGM milestone content.
    • Large three-dimensional ADGM logo as a central visual anchor.
    • Curated furniture and live food stations across the venue.
    • Glambot activation, arrival saxophonist and deep-house fusion band.
    • Bespoke video, lasers, synchronised lighting and fireworks finale.

ADGM 10-year anniversary branded landmark installation positioned along the waterfront

    Outcome

The anniversary allowed ADGM's first decade to be experienced as a sequence rather than presented as a conventional retrospective. Guests moved between milestones, hospitality and entertainment before coming together for a finale that looked deliberately towards the future.

The transformed outdoor setting gave the occasion both scale and warmth, creating a celebration that felt institutional in significance but personal in the way guests encountered it.
